What's the cheap kitchen tool you'd replace immediately if it broke?

Not the fancy stuff. For me it's a $4 fish spatula, which I use for everything except fish.

Runner-up: a bench scraper, which has somehow become how I move all chopped food.

Instant-read thermometer. I stopped guessing, and my chicken stopped being an adventure.

Cheap Japanese vegetable peeler. Those Y-peelers are about three dollars and better than anything expensive.
