Say goodbye to the platter system

A projector and platter at the Warnors Theatre. A long ribbon of film feeding out from a big flat plate is one of the most hypnotic things I've seen in any booth.

Anyone here ever work as a projectionist?

Not me, but I had a friend who did. His stories always ended with film all over the floor.

A "brain wrap" is what they called it, I think. It's the only technical term I know, and I'm delighted to have used it.
