My first set of dovetails: a confession

They have gaps. Quite a lot of gaps. I've used a certain amount of sawdust and glue, and I'd like everyone to agree not to look too closely.

But the box holds together, it's square(ish), and I cut every one of them by hand with a saw I sharpened myself. What did your first ones look like?

Mine looked like a dog had been at them. Cut twenty more on scrap and they'll improve fast. Your hands are learning, even when it doesn't look like it.

Square-ish is a great standard. I'm applying it to all my raised beds.
